Thank you for booking to participate in the cacao ceremony with a guided shamanic sound journey.

This information serves to give you all the information you will need for the event so please make sure you read it through before attending. 

​

Ceremonial cacao is a plant medicine and to receive the most from working with this beautiful medicine there are “respects” best to follow:

​

• Lighter meals are recommended 2-3 hours prior (minimum) as Cacao can be strong on our bellies.  If you do have a sensitive digestive system I recommend that it is best to avoid animal products before the ceremony as cacao can interact with them within our bellies causing a little discomfort for some. (So please skip dairy from your morning drink)

• It is also best to avoid alcohol 24hrs prior to, and after the ceremony.

• Anybody with heart issues or taking anti-depressant medication please inform me so dosage can be adjusted as there can be contra-indications.

• Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding please inform me so dosage can be adjusted.

These are very simple “need to knows” and are intended as respect of the medicine and to ensure that you enjoy your ceremony to the fullest.

This ceremony invites all of You in your wholeness – the raw, the wounded, the empowered, the untamed, the inner-child, and is intended as a supportive and welcoming space for your personal growth, however that may come - It may be relaxing and peaceful, but it may also  be emotional, or serve as a catalyst for change within you. So it is best to come free of any expectations and to trust that you will be guided and assisted by myself, the spirit of cacao & the sounds to what is most needed for you in the moment.

I will guide and hold you throughout the entire ceremony allowing you to relax the thinking mind and drop into your body and the moment.

​

 I work intuitively, bringing all of my skills and abilities to the Ceremony and will tune in to the energies on the day to assist you to receive all that is guided for you. This may come in the form of an energy cleanse or healing at some point throughout the session so I ask now for you to please let me know if you are happy for this? The healing I offer is energetic and takes place within your energy field but I may place my hands on you to help ground any energies that need it.

 I am deeply honoured to be gathering with you for this deep and empowering work.

You may wish to set and silently bring a personal intention with you for the ceremony. This can assist in amplifying your sacred personal work. 

 

What you need to bring with you:

• A yoga mat & any additional items to support your comfort for the sound journey element.

• A water bottle (extra water will be available)

• A pillow & blanket

• A journal to record anything that you receive or experience (optional)

• Any important/sacred items that you may wish to place on the Altar for the duration of the ceremony.

 

We will be sitting cross-legged on the wooden floor for some of the time (chairs are available) then laying down during the sound journey element.

The Cacao Ceremony will be held at the Newtown House Hotel, Manor Road, Hayling Island, PO110QR

​

When you enter from the road, follow the car park round to the rear of the hotel where there are plenty of parking spaces. We will be in the barn building that is to your left as you stand facing the rear of the hotel which has its own entrance. Please wait here until I open the door.

Please arrive by 9.50 and wait by your car or the small lobby that leads to the hall. I will open the door by 9.55-10am. Please be aware that I will be inside preparing the space and myself to receive you and I ask that you do please wait until I signal you.
