The Second Gate - The Sacral Centre

ree

The exploration of the Mysteries through the gates of the Sacred Vessel now brings us

to the Second Gate — the Sacral Centre.

The Sacral is our place of relationship.

It is where we relate to the world around us, to others, objects, and most importantly, to ourselves.

Through this centre we meet the opposites within — light and shadow, self and other, give and take, Earth and Soul.

The Sacral teaches us reconciliation, the balancing of polarities so that harmony may emerge.

It is also the rooted ground of our incarnation. While the Base anchors our will to be here,

the Sacral roots us into relationship with life itself.

This is not abstract grounding, but the felt, lived connection to Earth through the body.

It is how we belong, how we weave ourselves into the world around us.

This gate carries a strong current of the Divine Feminine.

The womb, the pelvis, the chalice — all are symbols of receptivity, creativity, and intuition.

Here, when the soul is ready to seek it, we meet the cauldron of creation —

the cosmic womb that receives, gestates, and births life.

It is the temple door into the realm of the Divine Mother, a threshold into the Rose Lineage,

the ancient rhythm that has carried wisdom through cycles of time.

The Sacral is where human life is created, but also where inspiration and possibility

are seeded once they have been dreamed into being in the cauldron of the cosmic mind.

The link from this lower creative space to the upper is the Throat — together they form two portals of creation.

The Sacral conceives and holds. When the seed of creation is ready to rise,

it activates the Throat, which opens to express and bring forth that which has been birthed within you.

One births the seed,

the other gives it voice.

When out of harmony, the Sacral may show as imbalance in relationships —

difficulties with boundaries, over-giving or under-receiving, feelings of victim-hood or lack of self-worth.

Creativity may stagnate, confidence may falter, and the body may reflect these imbalances

through the hips, knees, legs, or lower back.

When harmonised, the Sacral flows with reciprocity.

There is balance between self and other, between giving and receiving.

Confidence rises, creativity flourishes, and inspiration moves freely through body and soul.

The second gate teaches us that life is always relationship —

not only with others, but with ourselves, with Earth, and with the Divine.

The chambers of the Second Gate are a mystery of their own.

Each exploration of creation, receptivity, cyclical rhythm, and the feminine lineage held reverently within the Sacral forever unfold…

This is the second in a series of writings on the seven gates of the body — a spiral path through the centres of the Sacred Vessel.

Each one is an open doorway to feel, explore, and remember.

The Path of the Lotus Mystery School is where these mysteries are opened more deeply —

where the gates speak uniquely to you, offering their guidance, their rhythm, their remembrance.

How do you feel the Sacral gateway within your own body — in your creativity, your relationships, your balance of giving and receiving?

Do you feel the threads of the Divine Feminine woven through timelessness and space?

With love,

Gemma x
