Since the Winter Solstice, many of us have been moving through a final deep flushing out, a soul-level audit of life—clearing of the dross of who we had to be, in order to light up the pathways that beckon to us.
This process hasn't always been easy, but it has been a necessary preparation for the threshold we are now crossing.
We are currently held in a powerful convergence of new beginnings. As the Lunar New Year unfolds, we transition from the quiet, shedding introspection of the Year of the Snake into the spirited, forward-motion of the Year of the Horse.
Just as the Ancient Egyptians looked to the Neteru and the movements of the natural world to read the soul’s direction, we see this same wisdom reflected here: the time for hiding and shedding is over; the time for the heart to gallop forward has arrived.
This earthly shift is anchored by a 6,000-year celestial crossroads. As Saturn and Neptune meet at 0° Aries, we hit the absolute "reset" point of the zodiac wheel. In this alignment, the old structures of our lives (Saturn) are meeting the dissolving, infinite waters of our dreams (Neptune).
It is a moment where reality as we know it softens, allowing us to rebuild from the essence up. In this rare window, the "I AM" of Aries is asking: Which structures are worth keeping, and which dreams are finally ready to be made real?
The Blueprint of the Ren
To navigate this shifting landscape, we can return to the Ren—the Ancient Egyptian concept of the Name. The ancients understood that the Ren was a vital piece of the soul's anatomy, a divine blueprint much like a natal chart. They said, "Say my name, so I shall live," knowing that our name is the key to our memory, our power, and our alignment with the Neteru.
