Sirius and the Lions Gate: The Medicine of Yesterday & Tomorrow with Sothis and Aker

The Lions Gate is a potent time of incoming energies, it brings us the alignment with the star system Sirius and opens a portal for us to receive coding from all self aspects, human (past, present, future) and those existences we experienced as Sirius lifetimes, Ancient Egyptian Lifetimes, and Lyran lifetimes, to name but a few.
With any Portal I feel it is very important to first pay close attention to what it may be bringing you personally. This will be the easiest way to tune in and see what the collective may be picking up on too. Usually through personal exploration you discover the collective energy. This way messages from others become your own confirmations.
Each year will have its own flavour of energy, it will depend on the movements of other celestial bodies, the movements of your own lives and the resonance of which we are in. Listen to what your Whole Self needs you to Honour. There is so much personal learning within its voice.
It is easy to expect these Portals to be bright and shiny, to expect miraculous outcomes, but often the power is within the subtlety, for true power does not need to show itself in bold and spectacular ways. Listen to the tiny things, the bees, the waters, your need for sleep, food, quiet.
I created the Lion's Gate Codex last year and it feels just as potent, and an incredible housing to sit within whilst you bathe in the light of Sirius. Let me first introduce you to Sothis, Aker and the Lions of yesterday & tomorrow...
Sopdet, Aker, and the Lions of Yesterday and Tomorrow
We can think of the Sirius portal and Lion's Gate as the mirror in the sky.
The importance of Sirius to the Ancient Egyptians was that her heliacal rising signalled the coming inundation of the Nile - meaning the fields would soon be flooded and seeds could be sown. An agricultural new year would begin. A new horizon, a new beginning - often a time we metaphorically cross a threshold or pass through a 'gate' into the next becoming.
The flooding of light from Sirius and the Lion's Gate opening is the reflection happening above us.
The ancients always left clues for us to learn about the heavens, and to remind us that nature and the rhythms shown to us through seasons, flooding, harvests etc, is our channel to source upon earth.
How to Use the Lion's Gate Codex
Within the Lion's Gate Codex you will find two written journeys that take you to meet the Lion of Yesterday and the Lion of Tomorrow.
Next there is a recorded transmission to meet your sister star

A Sacred Message from Sopdet/Sothis - Isis in the Sky:
I am Sopdet, I will tell you the story of the lions of yesterday and tomorrow, the guardians of the gate. The space they guard is the place of dreams and choice. The ancient gate where light pours in, cascading over earth like a gushing waterfall.
I am the light that pours through, I am the waters of hope. I am the brightest star in the sky, the one who shows you your own light. I am made of the tears of goddesses, and the sweat of the gods. Water and fire.
The lion of yesterday roars, he screams away all that was and feasts on the marvels of time gone by.
The lion of tomorrow sleeps, dreaming all that is to come into being.
They hold the gate open - the space within the space. They listen to the footsteps of those who approach and feel the thrum of their hearts.
They say nothing.
The lion of yesterday knows the thrum of the soul still screaming.
The lion of tomorrow knows the thrum of dreams.
Still they say nothing.
They sleep at the gate of eternity and wait for the souls to pass.
I Sopdet, Isis in the sky, rain down upon you. Receive the light of your eternal star so when you walk through the gate you thrum of dreams and of screams - for it is the divine dance of balance that opens the gateway to the true resonance of your heart.
Aker
Aker is primal earth energy, a very ancient earth god, likely older than other earth gods such as Geb. There are no temples dedicated to him solely, as he was seen for primeval earth powers and as a guardian at the entry and exit ways of Earth. Over time, being a guardian is what he was most known for - the god of the horizon and guardian of the entry way into the duat (the afterlife).
Though his connection to ancient earth powers seem to be forgotten over time there was still remnants in depictions of his name - a plinth or flat surface (representing earth) with two lions sat atop - one facing east and one facing west with the sun in the centre. The sun rising in the east and setting in the west referencing the gates that Aker/lions guard.
Further research suggested that what began as images of him as lion heads upon the plinth of earth, changed over time - the body of lions were added, then the heads changed to resemble a more human form - like the sphinx, suggesting that the Sphinx, who sits facing the eastern horizon may well be a monument built to honour Aker. The Sphinx is said predate the pyramids and may well be as ancient as Aker.
The lions were known as yesterday and tomorrow, for Aker was the setting horizon into the night, or the duat. And he was the eastern horizon, the dawn of a new day.
Aker symbolises the ancient importance of the cycle of death-rebirth, setting sun-rising sun, night into day and day into night.
Aker came into my awareness many times during July, a god quite unknown to me until now, giving me a signal of the energies from Sirius this year that are awakening deep codes within Earth. Ancient wisdom and medicine ways returning.
Practice 1 - The Lion of Yesterday
The Lions of Yesterday and Tomorrow represent different aspects of Aker. Allow yourself to first connect deeply with the Earth, with Aker, - allow the aeons of Earth wisdom and medicine to pulse through you. Let your heartbeat come into rhythm with the heartbeat of the Earth.
Allow lineages and ancestors to speak, breathe or make their presence known. In the following practices, they wish to be felt within us. We are the conduits of the new day, allow them to move through you.
You will now be guided through the offering from the Lion of Yesterday...
When you feel deeply connected to the heart of the earth, let the Lion of Yesterday know you are ready to meet them. Silently speak your readiness and feel the Lion of yesterday enter your awareness.
Connected and in rhythm with ancient Earth powers and with the Lion of Yesterday, drop your awareness to the surface of the earth in front of you.
As you gaze upon the earth you see a black square begins to appear...slowly it deepens into a vast bottomless chasm.
You feel safe and connected to the earth and you notice that travelling from your feet into the black square chasm is a cord of light...you can see your energy connected with the earth.
The Lion of Yesterday appears opposite you, on the other side of the vast black square opening. They gaze upon you, watching deeply into your Soul...
Suddenly you notice that from the Lion of Yesterday, a black tarry liquid is pouring slowly into the chasm...breathing and feeling you slowly start to receive information of what the liquid is....
Whilst gazing deeply into your eyes and Soul, the Lion of Yesterday began extracting lifetimes of "poison" - trauma, sadness, hurt, betrayal....from your Soul. You allow this Earth power to cleanse you, cleanse your soul. Watching as the thick trail of liquid pours into the vastness of the square chasm.
You feel deep gratitude for the Earth, Aker and the Lion of Yesterday as you begin to feel lighter in yourself.
The trail of liquid stops pouring from the Lion of Yesterday, signalling that your cleansing is complete. The Lion closes their eyes, takes a staunch seated position and lets out a roar that resembles more of a scream. He is clearing away any poison residue left over in your Soul and in your sacred space....you may feel a deep desire to join in with the roar.
As soon as the roar ends, the Lion of Yesterday curls up next to the chasm and falls asleep. His work is done.
You look down into the chasm and see that your light cord is glowing much brighter. You call it back into your heart and as you do, the square begins to close.
Spend a moment offering love and gratitude for all you have experienced before slowly coming back to your space.
Practice 2 - The Lion of Tomorrow
Come back to the deep presence and connection with the Earth, and feel for Aker - for the ancient ways of all who have walked this sacred planet before us. Root in, breathe in rhythm with the Earth.
As you are deepening into connection with Earth, you feel tired and wish to lay down. The Earth responds and as if reading you, the landscape around you becomes warm and inviting - a soft bed of grass, warm sand - Earth is inviting you to lay down and dream....
You settle in and feel comfortable and instantly you drift into a sleep state....you begin dreaming within your dream....your eyelids feel heavy yet they also come alive like a screen playing out your dreams and visions.
Lay here for as long as you need, safely held by the Earth, dreaming in a dream...feel, sense, see all that plays out upon the inside of your eyelids...
You begin to come out of your deeper dream state, finding yourself still upon the Earth, yet you feel something has changed around you. With eyes still closed you can sense the presence of the Lion of Tomorrow, as you feel this presence, you instantly hear the deep rhythmic breathing of the sleeping Lion...you find this presence deeply comforting and stay here in the sleep-awake, resting with the Lion of Tomorrow.
As if they sense your arousal and awareness the Lion of Tomorrow rolls over and curls around you...holding you like one of their cubs...this embrace feels warm and safe....you drift in and out of dream and awake, yet this time the Lion of Tomorrow has given you their eyes to see through.
You notice how all that you are envisioning is bathed in golden light...you play out everything you dreamed again yet this time there is a witness through the eyes of the Lion of Tomorrow and you feel your dreams are more alive.
The Lion of Tomorrow begins to clean and groom you as you are still in your state of dream-awake, dream-awake....you feel each lick as though it is etching your dreams into your skin, your hair, your body, your soul. The Lion of Tomorrow is coding you with your own dreams.
Simultaneously, your golden dreams soften to a close and the Lion stops licking you....the embodiment process is complete...The Lion of Tomorrow yawns and rolls away and you both wake up...The Lion of Tomorrow gazes into your eyes, then invites you to follow their gaze downwards.....you follow to find a stele lays upon the earth in front of you.....your own stone tablet of glyphs, symbols and etchings that holds your hearts dreams and desires.
You pick it up to study the symbols, then hold it close to your chest. The Lion of Tomorrow walks away.
You take a moment for expressing your love and gratitude for your experience and all you have received before slowly and gently returning to your body and space. Ready to walk through the Lion's Gate.
