The Fourth Gate - The Heart Centre

The journey now brings us to the Fourth Gate — the Heart Centre.

The Heart is the axis of the vessel, the middle chamber where all pathways converge.

It is the anchor point that keeps us rooted in the body while opening us to the heavens above

and the Earth beneath.

Through the Heart, we connect with the heart of the cosmos and the heart of the Earth,

and it is through this centre that divine and human meet.

The Heart is the place of sacred union.

Here the Divine Masculine and Feminine spiral together, each woven through the other in balance and harmony. Binding with the third aspect of the Holy Trinity which is your Heart.

The Heart is the holy of holies, within the middle cauldron — a seat of stillness, radiance, and remembrance.

On the physical level, the Heart governs circulation — of blood, lymph, and life-force carried in the breath. It distributes vitality through the body and reflects the balance between tension and softness, strength and surrender.

Energetically, the Heart is a field of purity and resonance. It touches each of the centres —

receiving from them and feeding back into them.

All gates return to the Heart, and all are nourished by its rhythm.

When out of harmony, the Heart does not easily let us express ourselves — because truth and integrity are not yet present. We may over-give, lose balance in reciprocity, or close down in disconnection.

When harmonised, the Heart opens to authenticity. Self-love and self-worth awaken, and we learn to radiate our truth with integrity.

From this place of brevity and authenticity, we open the higher heart — a subtle gateway of resonance that bridges the heart with the higher mind.

The link between them is held in the Alta Major centre — a hidden gate that will also be explored in this series of writings.

The Heart pairs with the Solar Plexus — balancing how we see ourselves as individuals

with how we stand in the group.

It flourishes in reciprocity — give and take, sacred exchange.

The Heart teaches us that expression without truth is hollow, and love without balance becomes sacrifice.

When the Heart is steady and aligned, it becomes the gateway to union, harmony, and authenticity.

This is the fourth in a series of writings on the seven gates of the body —

a spiral path through the Sacred vessel.
